Flexible Child Care


Kiddies Korner aims to provide a flexible, stimulating, part time programme in a safe and caring environment that supports children as they develop social skills and practice independence.
Ages: 2 – 5 years
Please note that children do not have to be toilet trained to attend.

Program Schedule

Morning program:

8:00-9:30                   Learning Stations
This time is for practicing social skills and engaging in play with other children in the dramatic, cognitive, science/ sensory or creative activities that are rotated weekly according to the displayed interests of the children to enhance their learning.

9:30- 9:45                  Healthy snack provided

9:45-10:00                 Circle Time

  • Calendar
  • Music and songs
  • Other group games

10:00-10:30              Structured learning

  • Early literacy and numeracy skills
  • Creative activities
  • Science, discovery and sensory

10:30-11:15             Indoor Gym- Gross motor play

11:15-11:30             Recall Circle

  • What did we learn today?
  • Songs and sharing time.

11:30-12:30   LUNCH- washroom routine

Afternoon program:

12:30-1:15                 Quiet time / washroom
(Activities for Non-sleepers)

1:15-2:00                   Indoor Gym- Gross motor play

2:00-2:15                   Circle Time

2:15-2:30                   Healthy snack provided
